Welcome to the Little Lamb Charity Blanket Project

Little Lamb is a UK crochet and knitting project run by a mother and daughter team (Maureen & Lindsay) based in Glasgow, Scotland. The project accepts donations of crocheted and knitted squares which we then assemble into blankets. The blankets are donated to charities who distribute them to adults, babies and children in the UK and abroad, who could benefit from having the comfort and warmth of a new blanket. The blankets produced stay within the UK (or are sent abroad via UK based charities) and so avoid the cost of international postage for Little Lamb. How You Can Help

All knitted and crocheted squares will be gratefully received. For further information on the squares we need for the project please visit our Crocheted & Knitted Square Guidelines Page. We also accept donations of complete knitted or crocheted blankets (for details about the blankets we accept visit our Blanket Guidelines page. You can contribute to the project simply by sending in squares (or finished blankets) as and when you can (and we also accept donations of wool/yarn). Arriving squares (or blankets) are logged in, by month, on the Monthly Donations Page.

You will be thanked by email (or post) depending on the details you provide. If you wish we will happily contact you again by email (attaching a picture), when your squares are used in a blanket to let you see the final result. Or if you wish to see the blankets made from our donated squares please see our Donated Squares and Their Finished Blankets flickr set. Please note that blankets are not made from the squares in the order in which they are donated. This allows for us to use wool supplies we have available.
